Brandi Palmer, Breast Cancer Survivor
What will you promise in the Fight Against Breast Cancer?
As living proof that mammograms do work and can detect breast cancer at its earliest stages, I promise to spread the importance or early detection. Early detection, thanks to digital mammography, saved my life. As important as Self Breast Exams are, you don't need to have a lump to have breast cancer. My motto...and one I have shared with the world is " Don't Wait For the Lump!" get your mammogram TODAY!!

If you had one day to fulfill your promise, how would you do it?
I would send out my " Don't Wait For the Lump!" video to the world. I would love to be able to somehow track the number of views, how many people chose to take action by getting a mammogram, and how many lives were saved by simply getting a mammogram. I know it sounds so cliché, but if one life was saved because I hit "send"....then I feel I have helped some how...some way.  The wonderful thing about sending out the video is that it is just not me trying to save lives. Yes, I made the video and hit send, but each and every person who sees it becomes part of the "pay it forward" pass-it-on message. We are all a part of the fight against breast cancer...we have made others aware. That is the true beauty....we are doing this together.

What will you promise in teh Fight Against Breast Cancer?
Make sure my daughter who just turned 40 starts getting mammograms every year.  I am also asking her to encourage all her high school girl friends just turning 40 to get mammograms.
