Our 17th Annual Pink Promise Brunch will take place on Saturday, May, 10, 2014 at the Overland Park Convention Center. Once again, 41 Action News Anchor Christa Dubill will serve as our emcee.
We hope you will join us for this incredible event, featuring “retail therapy” (shopping from a variety of vendors), a health partner expo, silent auction, prize drawings, as well as a seated brunch, survivor tribute and keynote presentation.
The Brunch brings together heroes of the breast cancer movement for a celebratory morning of inspiration. The Pink Promise Brunch both celebrates and recognizes the Komen community of survivors and supporters who share in the promise Nancy G. Brinker made to her dying sister 30+ years ago.
Last year, more than 1,000 supporters from around the community joined Komen Kansas City, raising more than $117,000 to further critical breast cancer research focused on reducing incidence and mortality, as well as local outreach and awareness initiatives funded by the Komen Kansas City Affiliate serving our 17-county bi-state service area.
Proceeds from Pink Promise Brunch are used to fund health and wellness programs in our Kansas City Affiliate and cutting edge national research efforts.
Join us for a very special day ...
