Kansas City, MO. - Susan G. Komen Pink Pajama Party celebrating Martina McBride’s KC Stop on the ELEVEN ACROSS AMERICA The Pink Together Express powered by Amtrak. Martina McBride is traveling across the country this week on an Amtrak train to celebrate the October 11th release of her new album ELEVEN, featuring the current hit “I’m Gonna Love You Through It”. During the journey, she’ll be honoring breast cancer survivors and those who have loved them through it. We’d love you to join us as local survivors are honored.
When: Tuesday, October 11, 2011 Where: Union Station, 30 West Pershing, Kansas City, MO 64108 (Behind Union Station, in the back parking lot)
9:00 – 10:45 PM: Light refreshments served, music playing by KBEQ 104.3, KFKF 94.1 and WDAF 106.5, lounge out with your friends!
10:45 PM: Prepare for Martina McBride arrival on Amtrak.
11:00 PM: Martina McBride arrival and program including opportunity for survivors and supporters to sign the train wrap, which will be on display in New York City upon culmination of the journey.
12:14 AM: Martina McBride departs on Amtrak train.
Participants are encouraged to wear pink pajamas, bring a chair to lounge with their friends and listen to music and bring money to purchase Komen t-shirts and Martina’s new ELEVEN CD.
