Mobile Apps & Social Media Enhance Race Experience

Kansas City, MO. - The Greater Kansas City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure encourages Race participants to bring their smart phones with them to the 19th Annual Race for the Cure on Sunday, August 12th. Komen Kansas City's Mobile App contains a Google Race route map, social media links, current news, and Tribute Wall where participants can say who they are Racing for. The Mobile App is available for both Android and iPhone devices.

A team of social media volunteers will also be updating Komen Kansas City’s Facebook and Twitter pages throughout Race morning. Race participants can visit us online to ask questions or post photos of their Race experience. Please use the hashtag #R4TCKC on Twitter and tag the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Kansas City Affiliate on Facebook so everyone at Race can follow your post.
